Competitions & Festivals

Dance Festival

Dance schools from Wales and the North West area are invited to compete against each other in various dance disciplines such as Ballet, Tap, Song and Dance and Character. Children of a certain standard from the Academy may be invited to represent the school in solo, duet, trio or group. The event takes place during February half-term.

 

Speech and Drama Festival

We enter the Chester Festival of Speech and Drama once a year where pupils from the Academy compete against other schools in Wales and the North West.
