Hollywood Beckons for Delta Pupils
Hollywood Directors who are famed for hit worldwide US sitcoms such as “Hannah Montana, Jac & Cody, ICarly" are coming to Liverpool to watch a group of hopefuls from Delta Academy Performing Arts and other schools, audition for future Hollywood projects.
Seventeen pupils from Delta Performing Arts have for the past few months been participating in workshops involving film and audition techniques, as well as being trained to sing & perform within a studio setting rather than a stage environment, which have helped to make them all understand the technical difficulties of acting to a camera, which is very different from performing on Stage.
During their scheduled performance which will be held at a Liverpool theatre, the seventeen pupils of Delta Performing Arts will each perform a solo song & acting piece, in front of the Hollywood Directors and Casting agents as well as performing a combined group piece comprising of Drama, Comedy, Song and Dance.
Delta’s Principal and founder Dianne Hughes is immensely proud of all her pupils, as all the Agents & Teachers who have visited the school to conduct their training sessions with the students, are completely over awed by the talent & commitment of the pupils whose ages range from 7 years to 22 and have regularly commented on the height of professionalism, displayed by all the students, which is rare especially in children so young. This is a testament to the training & commitment offered to all students of Delta Academy of Performing Arts by Dianne and her Delta team.
